Yesterday, I said goodbye to being an anonymous citizen in Dagupan City. I've finally exposed myself to the entire population through a presscon that morning and the fiesta parade later in the evening.
It was GREAT. Getting into the Twelve Prettiest is definitely an enriching experience. What I just didn't like was my gown yesterday. It was supposed to be a white tube dress with flowers of different sizes onto it. But NO, the designer made me look like a layered cake. The people said I looked like a goddess and even asked me where I rented it. I told them it was from Goldilocks.
But you know what, only Ate Lufel and I were the ones who kept smiling and waving. I really appreciated the compliments and the warmth of the people. I had two little boys following our caroza. And I kept saying, 'O, ikaw na naman (You again?)?!' I was really smitten with the crowd.
So hey Dagupan, no more masks. I'm out to show you the real me. :D
