Grreat. Now I have doggy scratches on my poor little face. Thank you, Morgana! lol.
Went shopping the whole day. My USTET went well. It was easy. I got to smile with a few strangers. I also got to share a few words.
The whole day went great. I was in search for the perfect outfit for our Christmas Party.
So yeah. And you know what else made me happier? I got to see Mikee and Morgan (my cousins' doggies) again! Hihi. I sooo missed them! Haha.

We had a photoshoot earlier for the tarp and an MTV shoot for Dagupan's Twelve Prettiest.
Yes, I got in. Lucky, lucky me. ;)
Anyways, the pictorial was fun but the shoot was funner! They made me walk slowly and project as I faced the camera. But yeah, I was a bit shy at first. It took me three takes to make perfect.
The people were all really nice. They made sure we were all comfortable in each other's company.
Plus, I loved my pics. All of them. I hope I can get digital copies from Ms. Riza so I can post 'em soon! ;)
So yeah, I'm tired. Tomorrow's my USTET and we leave for Manila at 2 a.m. If I don't pass UST, I swear I am never going to college anymore. It's my last resort. So I hafta secure the option.
Btw, one of the directors said I shouldn't be shy coz I'd have much more commercials after the MTV we shot. And those words released my inner supermodel.

My fetcher came too late and it was getting dark at school so I decided to go home myself. Besides, Joe and the gang would be going home too.
I walked home. Not really walked, since I took a tricycle on the way to the subdivision entrance. From there, I walked home.
Those who recommend walks for troubled minds should really be listened to. My not-so-long walk home was therapeutic--it relieved all the hassles in me.
Going home alone gave me the sense of freedom I was never sure of because of this sheltered life. I guess there really is something magical about occasionally bending from routines. It makes you a stronger and braver person.
I enjoyed. I felt free. I felt independent. I felt GREAT.
Can't wait to do it again! ;)

..TWISTED.
I WON 2ND PLACE FOR EDITORIAL WRITING ENGLISH! ^.^
Oh yes, my 11-word title didn't get in the way of my victory. But my dad said he would like to think it was just the title that made me just SECOND.
Eitherway, I'm still THANKFUL to GOD. Prayer really works and I mean it with all my being. I remember waking up at about 2:00 in the morning because I'd been so tense about it. Then I prayed for my article. Thank you, LORD!
Unfortunately, we didn't get the Over-All Championship. I still couldn't understand why they didn't include the Desktop Publishing category just because of the black out. I knew we had a BIG chance if it was included. Oh well.
But I remember crying my heart out earlier. I really thought I was a goner when the 5th placer for Editorial was already announced. I had just aimed for 5th because of my dang title. God really loves me. *blushes*

...TrAuMa-RaMa!!
Today was a day of MISFORTUNE. Yes, I am serious. I have no idea why fate played with me on this very day. Fate got me screwing up my editorial title and chasing jeepneys.
Exhibit A.
So yeah, I got #8 in the list of participants for Editorial Writing. Lucky... NOT! I super did my best in writing the body but I couldn't think of a smashing title. Grr. I ended up passing last, a few minutes after the time. I wonder if they'll deduct points from that. Aw gosh. And guess what? The friggin' title had 11 words! Now who would read an article like mine?!
Exhibit B.
I almost fell into a jeepney. I was about to climb into the jeep when it moved! And I was like running with one foot with the other on the step with my hands on the handle. Can you imagine that? And when I finally gave up and let go of the handle, I was screaming at the top of my lungs! I was so TRAUMATIZED! Worse, the other schools saw me and my reputation as Poise Chick was ruined! Grr.
The jeepney stopped at the loading area and my other batchmates were there laughing their arses of! I was crying but I still laughed mine off too! lol.
Remind me to never ride jeepneys EVER again.

A jeep crashed into our van. Well, not really crashed, but it damaged our front lights. But hey, it wasn't our fault! Daddy Dearest came to the rescue.

Our Arts teacher Mr. Narciso was rushed to the hospital because of a stroke. He's now in the ICU. Please pray for him, okay?

My barkada consoled me. This time, most of them were there. It felt good, yeah. I remember how Sette went through this 10 months ago. lol. And they were telling me to move on.

We played train on our way to Alpha's. Imagine how long the train went! Helena's group and the rest of my Newton pals definitely know how to trip. lol.

I'm feeling good vibes regarding my grades right now. Well, yeah, I don't expect to be Number One in the Second Grading but I'm going to make sure I avenge my name this Third Grading. I will win back my title.
It's a good thing that I'm getting higher grades in the other subjects wherein our grades were released. I remember being so tense last week about my exam results and all that crap. Well, they're turning out a bit okay. (I hope for more pambawi grades, though!)
I'm loaded on extra-curriculars and I'll be definitely busy! Yay for that! ^.^

...OuT oF mY sHeLL oNcE agAiN!!
I'm feeling a lot of pressure right now. First, I found out that Joanna got three points higher than me in our 2nd Quarter Filipino grade. I know she will get higher points in Biochemistry and Math and Physics too. It's definitely 'Bye Bye Number One' for me.
Plus, my 97-year-old great grandfather just died. Hmf. Yeah, he did. Well, he was too old anyway.
Then again, these things never got me down today.
Hey, I bonded a lot with my friends today. It's great to have them back in my life. Not that I lost them, but I realized I was spending less time with time for the past few weeks. Nevermind if Sette and Paolo's or Judith and Jessie's mushiness made me cringe at every sweet moment.
So yeah. I'm still happy. I've imposed a challenge unto myself to revive my quest for getting the sky-high grades. I've also told myself I'd spend more time with my buddies right now.
