...A wAvE oF cHaNgE...
Finally, I am back! Well, our Internet connection got waaaaay to sucky that it didn't connect 24/7 for the past two days. Because of that, I was given enough time to watch CNN. I just couldn't switch channels, except for Hey Arnold and Fairly Odd Parents. That tsunami thing got me crying for hours. I mean, that was the first time I cried over watching CNN!
Now I see why God temporarily cut off my Internet for 48 hours. He wanted me to see what was happening in the real world, not just the cyberworld. Almost every family lost a member, many kids lost their parents, many parents lost their children--and their lives will never be the same again. Just because of those killer tsunamis.
Imagine how lucky we are not to have been victimized by those walls of water. Still, I feel affected. I can't just sit here and watch these people all day, I thought. Then again, I'm still incapable of flying to Sri Lanka, Indonesia, etc. that easily. But wait a few years, world. I'll make sure that the next time you need my help, I will be there. I WILL HELP.
I began to quickly rearrange my future. All of a sudden I wanted to truly realize my dream to be a UN volunteer/ambassador. (Looks who's feeling quixotic™ once again! :D)
On a lighter note, I've accomplished a lot for the past two days. I've made a whole set of LJ icons and a new layout. I also made LJ layouts for anyone who wants them. ;) (Just message me! :D)
Also, I now know how to drive. Well, I still have a long way to go but at least I'm now an official student driver. I've even got my permit to show it! ;)
