Blogging and all that crap.
It's been a year since I've been putting daily details of my life into writing--and not only that, I've been writing in my own place in cyberspace.
My very first, Cover Girl Dreams (now deleted), has gone on from March til August 2004. It was the most controversial. It was where all my dreams, fears, and frustrations started. It was where I posted Bianca King's personal message of inspiration and where blog friends consoled me about my long wait for a chance to shine. It was where I got hate mail for being too ambitious and egotistic. It was where I first posted about my biggest insecurity--my height. I found my blog posted with both fan mail and hate mail, but soon, the latter outnumbered the former.
After some time, I decided to switch from LJ to Blogger. That was the birth of Venus Resurrected, designed and conceptualized by Raph. It was intented to be a private blog. There, I wrote mostly about school experiences--encounters with different teachers, my then drummer boy crush, regretting not being able to join the pep squad on my last year of high school, etc. After some time, I got tired of Blogger. I missed LJ.
Thus, livejournalDOTcomSLASH~chescalicious was born. I set comments to Friends Only to prevent hate mail. LOL. I've also written a few entries only viewable by friends. I am loving my LJ and I will love it forever. Thank you LJ friends for bearing with my crap displayed on your Friends page. Thanks for the encouraging comments too! ;)
Sometime in November, Raph surprised me with an Audrey Hepburn layout thru my Blogger account. (Audrey Hepburn is my ultimate idol.) I then decided to maintain it as Zet offered to host me. Now, Breakfast and Tiffany's definitely is here to stay. I have no plans of moving out, neither do I have any plans of changing the layout.
I am very happy that everyone has been so positive with comments and the tags despite the fact that Haloscan and Tag-Board aren't Friends Only. My Whapak has now become open to the public.
Recently, Pinoy Blogger added me to their growing list. I felt really honored being in the list. But after a while, I was so surprised to receive this message from them on my tagboard:
I know, it is sooo not me to be advertising my blog for security purposes. But I'd like to thank you all for taking time in reading my little emotional and mental by-products. Thank you for the positive reinforcement, and for commenting even at the most senseless entries. THANK Y'ALL SO MUCH! *hugs*
