Misadventures at the University of Pila.

I woke up this morning with my whole body aching. Standing for more than three hours straight during the Freshman Orientation yesterday, patiently waiting seven rows (seven horizontal rows) behind Counter 2, walking from counter to counter... Oh yeah, I've been through a lot for the past few days.

It was all about falling in line and waiting patiently for your turn. It's a nice form of discipline, though. Although I had to endure a few nuisances behind me. I heard one person say, "Ano ba 'yan, mas mahal pa outfit ko sa tuition ko!" Man, gotta hate conyos. LOL.

I also didn't know you had to have your X-ray validated at the infirmary. Just as we were about to fall in line for the checking of requirements was when I found out. Oh great. It was a case of building-hopping if you ask me. LOL.

The Freshman Orientation was fun even if I stood for hours. The emcees were great and super funny. The UP Pep Squad taught us the cheers already. And of course, we were also taught the UP Naming Mahal anthem. They also showed us a couple of videos. Here's something I learned from my favorite video. I didn't get to memorize the other details but here are my favorites.

You'll Know You're in UP When...'
1. You have to take a jeepney to your next subject.
2. You always have to fall in line.
3. Your seatmates happen to be valedictorians. (LOL!)

I'm still afraid of how my grades will turn out after the first sem, but it looks like I'm going to love being an Iska!

P.S. I'm so happy about being enlisted in CW 10! ;)
