She'll always be seventeen...

MAY 26, 2005. My 17th birthday party was the best ever. Alv, Alkaide, and Val were the earliest guests. We watched the final episode of American Idol while waiting for the others. And when Mau and the rest of Pepz's party arrived, we snapped for more camwhore moments. The rest of the boys, Koko and company, actually had to rush here after their flat tire dilemma. I was glad they still made it.
The menu consisted of tacos, lasagna, calamares, barbecue, and cheesesticks. Ate Tina, my mom's patient whom we ordered pasta from, baked chocolate cupcakes with candy-colored icing and sprinkles for me as her gift! Aww, how sweet!
After dinner came the highlight of the evening. My Seventeen Wishes. Sounds debut-like, doesn't it? I chose 17 people to make a wish for me and finish off a glass of wine thereafter. Jayson's message was the most unforgettable... It was all about making the right choices. I know he meant something else. Right on, kumpadre!
And after that was Happy Hour. The Magic Sing videoke machine was hogged by Val. Believe me, she never stopped until she reached 99. Heirs to her throne were Jessie, Alv, and Daryl. Daryl took us away with his version of Pare Ko. LOL. Oh yeah! And by the way, Val dedicated Moon River to me. :)
The boys stayed until 10:30. So much for teenage girls and curfews. LOL. I had already changed into PJ's when they left. Daryl and Jessie left me touching messages before they left. Aww, how sweet!
As for the gifts, most of them gave me stuffed dogs. LOL. It was planned. LOL. Koko and Irvs gave me a stuffed piggy, though. Bugs, my ex-crush hidden under that codename, gave me a Bugs travel pillow! Weee! Kryzl and their barkada gave me a Spongebob and Patrick pillow. Alv gave me a scrapbook he worked on himself. Oh, and did you guys know that Jessie unexpectedly gave me a rosary?!
It was the best birthday bash ever. Not everyone from SLGP was there but the rest of my batchmates were just as fun to be with! I love you guys!
