Funky first day!
My first day in UP was simply the best. I definitely had the time of my life! So much happened in a single day. FUNKY!
► I met up with Rhea at McDonald's Philcoa because we both didn't know where the assembly would take place. We were both surprised to be wearing almost the same shade of yellow! OMG, we looked like we were going to dance back-up for Parokya's First Day Funk tour! LOL. When Rhea and I arrived at the theater, we found out we had to go back at 1 p.m. for our own college's (alongside Eng'g and CS) Freshman Assembly. We also learned that we had to go to our classes first. Since we had no idea how to get to the Math Building from the theater, we rode a taxi since it had already started raining. LOL.
► I was relieved to find Shobe in the same Math 17 class! I wonder what blocks are for anyway. I mean, you guys only have the same time for Math 17 but you couldn't necessarily be classmates in that class. Weird!
► Speaking of blocks, I was elected Block Secretary. LOL. And everybody hates being the secretary. All my blockmates are sooo cool. And it'll be nice working with Ian, our president, and Mia, our vice-pres. We're helping out with the Psych Orientation as well! Any suggestions for the block presentation? (We're planning to dance, actually. LOL.)
► I met a whole lot of new friends. I made new friends in every class! =D
► Yipes, I got lost going to CW 10! I went inside the wrong CAL building! And it took me almost thirty minutes to finally ask the Manong Guard. Oh, and I got pretty lucky. Only five of us were able to attend the class. The prof actually gives plus 0.25 to those with perfect attendance. And wow, only five of us have the chance.
► We had an activity after the Freshie Assembly with the Pysch Soc officers and members. Each of us had a sheet of paper sticked to his or her back. The rule is to have other people write their first impression or the thing they like most about you, but you have to leave your name. A lot of people wrote, Nice smile!, while others described me as shy. Whoah, if they only knew!
► I had so much fun during the Freshie Assembly! I really enjoyed all the presentations and the program itself. But one thing I would never forget was the play they had prepared. It was sooo hilarious!
► Inside our freshman survival kit was a list of orgs. I wonder which one to join... Does anyone know how I can apply for The Collegian? I'd like to try my luck! :)
► Oh, by the way, Pink mag's June-July ish is already out. On page 45 and 64, you'll get to see my hands and nails. LOL. But you can see the Japanized me on page 66!
