Another Home Sweet Home entry.
It was really touching, that incident last night. It was 12:30 when we arrived and as soon as I walked past the gate, still with pillow in tow, I hurried towards Margot's cage. And as soon as I said, "Margot!", all the other dogs started barking. I panicked as Conan's big voice just got bigger.
Then my dad followed and turned on the lights. Next to Margot's cage were Pepper and Georgie. They had been sharing the space, and my attention too. They kept barking, even as I approached them, and Pepper kept pushing Georgie away. (It was cute seeing a mini pin and a French bulldog in one cage. They looked like Timone and Pumbaa dog versions.)
And there was another bulldog barking below. My hands left Pepper's and Georgie's snouts and went to where Noelle (Favorite Puppy's mom) was. It was the first time we saw each other but she didn't show any agression at all. Then I heard smaller versions of Noelle's barks. "Babieeees!", I cried as I saw Favorite Puppy's brothers sticking their noses out of the small square holes. Funny how they still remembered me!
But the barking didn't stop. Big ones dominated. "Conan! Wandie!", I cried. The shepherds are all grown up! Wanda was nearly as big as Conan was! They jumped up and down as I started petting them and grabbing their noses.
It's really amazing how all of these dogs were thrilled when I arrived. I missed them all so much. :)

I was really surprised to find out that Balungao, Pangasinan, my mom's hometown had a Kambing Festival, and it was even featured in the news, and two other talk shows! What even surprised me was that it was the brainchild of my uncle, who is one of the councilors. I'm really proud of Tito Phil and I can really say he has greatly inspired me to do my own thing. :)

I'm so glad to be home. Even if I have to do my Soc Sci portfolio here and I have no excuse not to study Chem here, it's still great to be home.
