Who needs a lifestyle change?

"Chesca, sinong gumawa ng makeup mo? Ang ganda!", said Ate Jenny from TheAgencie while I was making tambay.

Ever since Ate Keng started working, I've been doing my own makeup. After rosier left cheek, bad eyeshadow blending, overly rouged lips, and way-too-glittery makeup experiences, which all got me late for casting calls, I can finally manage. (And I'll be glad to do Joy's makeup again for the next debut! *ehemCLAUDSehem*)

My girly streak is kicking in again. I'm feeling the need to update my wardrobe, buy my own makeup case, buy real shoes and save my flipflop collection for Scuba classes and out-of-town trips, fix my hair once in a while, and whoooo... simply live la vida girly.

You might wonder why the hell I'm saying this when a lot of people think I'm actually girly already, but I'm actually one of those girls who don't have the word poise in their vocabulary. I slouch, I overeat 'til I feel sick (hell guilty!), I'm too loud when I'm with my siblings and friends, I don't sit with crossed legs... I can't even walk in high heels anymore.

I need a lifestyle change.

OR NOT.

Why be only the other when you can be both?

High heels are definitely not UP-friendly so I guess I should just practice walking in them at home. A wardrobe update would definitely help but I'll still be needing my loose shirts for tough girl tasks or for days I just couldn't do without siopao sauce. (And so I could never again spill siopao sauce on my favorite white polka dot top!) All those girly shoes would never feel as comfy as my orange Crocs!

You can change for the better without having to change who you really are.

So I'd like to be more girly, but the cowgirl spirit will still live on. Yee-haw!
